The Department of Data Science and Big Data Technology was established in 2019, mainly serving the construction of data science and big data technology majors and talent cultivation. This major is a professional teaching and research team composed of senior doctoral supervisors, young and middle-aged backbone teachers in Tianjin, "131" talents in Tianjin, and winners of the Tianjin Youth Teacher Basic Skills Competition. There are a total of 10 teachers, including 2 professors and 5 associate professors. The proportion of teachers with doctoral degrees is over 80%. In recent years, I have led 2 National Natural Science Foundation general projects, 2 National Natural Science Foundation youth projects, 1 sub project of the Ministry of Science and Technology's large-scale instrument development special project, 2 key projects supported by Tianjin Science and Technology, 2 projects supported by Tianjin Natural Science Foundation, and 9 other provincial and ministerial level projects. I have also led 5 school level education reform projects; Received 2 second prizes and 3 third prizes for scientific and technological progress in Tianjin; Published over 200 academic papers indexed by SCI and EI.
