The Department of Internet of Things Engineering was established in 2012, mainly serving the construction and talent cultivation of the Internet of Things Engineering major. After 9 years of construction, a professional teaching and research team has been formed, consisting of national outstanding teachers, Tianjin teaching masters, and Tianjin "131" talents. There are a total of 11 teachers, including 3 professors and 4 associate professors. The proportion of teachers with doctoral degrees has reached over 90%. In recent years, we have supported 4 National Natural Science Foundation general projects, 6 National Natural Science Foundation youth projects, 1 Tianjin New Generation Artificial Intelligence Major Project, 1 Tianjin Natural Science Foundation key project, and 6 other provincial and ministerial level projects. Hosted one key teaching and research project in Tianjin and two school level educational reform projects. Published over 100 academic papers indexed by SCI and EI; More than ten papers on educational reform, including three in core journals.
