I am affiliated with the School of Computer Science, Tianjin University of Technology and Computer Vision Research Institute. My research focuses on computer vision, multimodal perception, and artificial intelligence, with applications in medical imaging, intelligent manufacturing, and healthcare systems.
I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in collaboration with Oslo University Hospital (OUS). Before joining Tianjin University of Technology, I worked as a researcher at NTNU and Oslo University Hospital in Norway, where I contributed to medical robotics, surgical navigation, and computer-assisted intervention research. Earlier in my career, I worked as an engineer at Ericsson Research in Beijing, focusing on algorithm development for digital unit products in wireless communication systems.
I maintain active academic collaborations with institutions such as NTNU, Oslo University Hospital, the University of Oslo, Université Sorbonne Paris Nord, INRIA, and Rochester Institute of Technology. I also serve as a reviewer for leading journals and conferences, including IEEE TMI, IEEE TIP, IEEE TCSVT, and MICCAI.

My research interests include computer vision, multimodal perception, medical image analysis, surgical navigation, image enhancement and restoration, 3D reconstruction, multimodal data fusion, and artificial intelligence for healthcare and intelligent manufacturing. More specifically, I am interested in developing robust machine learning and computer vision methods for integrating heterogeneous multimodal data and solving challenging real-world problems in medical and industrial scenarios.
