The Computer City Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center (Tianjin University of Technology) (referred to as the Center), affiliated with the School of Computer Science and Engineering of Tianjin University of Technology, was established in 1979. In 2012, the construction of the Tianjin Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center was officially approved, and it passed the acceptance inspection in 2018.
The center undertakes the experimental teaching of five undergraduate computer science majors, namely Computer Science and Technology, Information Security, Internet of Things Engineering, Data Science and Big Data Technology, and Computer Science and Technology (China Canada), as well as the computer basic courses for non computer majors in the whole school, providing computer technology consulting and services for teachers and students in the whole school; At the same time, it also supports the teaching and research work of doctoral programs in computer science and technology, master's programs in computer science and technology, software engineering, and network space security, as well as master's programs in computer technology engineering; We also support various innovative activities of undergraduate students in the field of computer science, as well as the teaching and research work of teachers.
The center adheres to the motto of Tianjin University of Technology, which emphasizes morality, ability, practicality, and innovation. It insists on educating students, focuses on connotation construction, pursues characteristic development, and implements the teaching principle of "teaching according to students' aptitude and classified training". Under a multi-level experimental teaching system that combines professional training with personalized training, and in class experiments with extracurricular activities, it strengthens the cultivation of students' basic experimental ability, innovation ability, and research and development ability. Utilizing modern technological means to achieve networked experimental teaching and management, actively cultivating a large number of high-quality talents with practical ability and innovative spirit for national construction.
